We at Niederrheinische Blechwarenfabrik GmbH have been specialised in processing tinplate into packaging since 1921.

There is a good reason for this. Due to its specific properties, tinplate protects the packaged products from external influences and the environment from possible dangers due to the packaged products themselves.

Tinplate is:

• stable
• break-proof
• liquid-tight
• gas-tight
• opaque
• diffusion impermeable

Tinplate is excellent for printing and is therefore also an excellent advertising medium. And: Last but not least - tinplate is sustainable.

The recycling rate of tinplate in Germany has been over 90% for many years. This is the highest recycling rate among all packaging materials.

Therefore, it is no wonder that around 90% of the tinplate produced in Germany is used to manufacture packaging.

The fantastic product properties of tinplate can be used in many sectors. The classic applications include paints and varnishes, building and speciality chemicals, edible oils, adhesives, pesticides, lubricants, printing inks, ... any many more.
